Kids' World "Green" Display Ideas
This article is about a Wisconsin children's museum which used safe, green materials to construct its exhibits. This is a reprint from FUNWORLD, the official magazine of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.

"Seeing Green"

The Kids' World International Festival offers area children unparalleled opportunities to learn more about the globe and world cultures, providing a global understanding most children would never experience. The success of Kids' World is due in large part to the more than 50 exhibitors who illustrate customs, languages, music, art, international food, dress, geography and faiths in a fun and fast paced style.

Kids' World 2008, "Color Your World", takes place November 13-16 in the QuikTrip Center at the Tulsa Expo Square. We anticipate more than 21,000 students, teachers, parents and volunteers to attend. We invite new exhibitors to join our international festival. Each exhibitor is asked to have a hands-on activity with an international theme. Activities can be very simple and should highlight something about your organization or group and that is international. TGA is adding a "green" component to the 2008 festival, and we encourage you to feature the sustainability of our planet through your hands-on activities and displays, leaving children and adults with a greater understanding of how going "green" benefits the entire globe.

To learn more about this opportunity, read the Exhibitor Fact Sheet and view photos from the 2006 festival.
