Kids' World is an international children's
festival where exhibitors provide displays, materials, activities
and performances for children to learn about the world's diverse
cultures. These may include community groups and organizations,
government entities, nonprofit organizations, and companies
presenting an exhibit in accordance with the following guidelines:
1. Each exhibitor must include information
to promote the mission of Kids' World. This can be conveyed
through music, art, print, electronic mediums, sign language,
or storytelling. It may be conveyed with banners, photos, clothing,
pottery or other cultural artifacts.
2. Each exhibitor must provide the
Kids' World Executive Committee with copies of all printed materials
to be used in the booth prior to the opening of the festival
but no later than October 16. One master set of approved materials
will be retained by the Kids' World' Executive Committee.

3. Each exhibitor
must provide a hand-out for the children. This may be in the
form of a hands-on activity or an educational activity (dance,
art, language, etc.). If hand-outs are used, at least 5,000
copies should be available. A brief written description of the
hands-on activity must be provided to the Kids' World Executive
Committee prior to the opening of the festival but no later
than October 16. The information will be retained by the Kids'
World Executive Committee.
4. An exhibitor may sell items at
a booth as long as a free activity is also available, a sales
agreement has been signed, and a list of items to be sold has
been submitted to the Kids' World Executive Committee before
the opening of the festival but no later than October 16. The
list will be retained by the Kids' World Executive Committee.
5. Only flags from Member States
of the United Nations may be displayed as decoration by the
Kids' World Executive Committee or an individual exhibitor.
6. Applicants seeking to present an
exhibit for a culture or cultural group may be authorized to
present the culture of that group by the Kids' World Executive
Committee Review Board.

7. Maps used by
exhibitors must conform to current U.S. Department of State
maps.
8. Any Tulsa Sister City may display
their country, city or state flag in their booth.
9. Native American flags and symbols
may be displayed by Native American exhibitors.
10. A religious group may participate
in Kids' World if intent, materials and activities are in keeping
with the Kids' World mission and do not include religious conversion,
proselytizing religious faith instruction, or criticism of any
other faith.
The Kids' World Executive Committee Review Board will resolve any questions about materials before the booth opens. In the case of a violation during the Festival, it should be reported to the Kids' World Chair. Following a verbal warning, a written request would be presented if the violation continues. In the unlikely event it is not resolved; an exhibitor would be subject to being excluded from future events.
This Review Board shall be composed of the
President of TGA, the outgoing chair of Kids' World, and the
current chair. In the event of an unresolved issue, the Tulsa
Global Alliance Executive Committee will make the final decision.
These rules are subject to review and
revision following the production of each Kids' World Festival,
but no later than September of the year preceding the next festival.
