Since Tulsa's affiliation with San Luis Potosi, there have been many exchanges. Annual youth exchanges and adult exchanges were established part of this partnership. At one time Tulsa's Eisenhower International School had the United States' only elementary international exchange program in its relationship with San Luis Potosi's Instituto Cervantes.

Located 225 miles northwest of Mexico City, San Luis Potosi is famous for its beautiful old churches, colonial architecture and Mexican tradition.
