A KTUL interview with Cathy Render and Wendy Sheets, promoting TGA and its Sister Cities, and specifically, the event on August 8th to commemorate the Battle of Amiens, a Tulsa Sister City. 

Publication. Tulsa World. August 5, 2018. Tulsa World interviews Bob Lieser, Vice President of Programs, Tulsa Global Alliance, about the August 8th event at the Tulsa Historical Society: 100 Years, 100 Days, Commemorating the Battle of Amiens: Exploring Oklahoma's Ties to World War 1.  

Publication: The Economist. July 9, 2018. The Economist wrote a fascinating article highlighting the Global Ties Network that TGA belongs to, the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), and the value that public diplomacy programs bring the U.S. economy. Last year, 200 IVLP participants visited Tulsa, and this piece describes the history and national scope of the program from the point of view of an international audience.

Publication: Tulsa World. March 27, 2018. Tulsa Global Alliance and Commerce Bank sponsored a business seminar titled "Export Trade Matters" at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center. Drew Felling, vice president of international trade at Commerce Bank in Kansas City, Missouri, moderated a panel of business leaders and industry experts who provided facts, statistics, trends, ideas, and information for growing the Oklahoma economy through exports.

Publication: Tulsa World. December 17, 2017. Students visiting Tulsa from Iraq participating in the Tulsa Global Alliance and Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program started a much-needed food bank in Kurdistan after volunteering at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

Dr. Lyubov Ginzburg, an editorial assistant at the UN Chronicle, pays tribute to the late Yevgeny Yevtushenko, a world-renowned Soviet and Russian poet who resided in Tulsa. He also recalls his visits to Tulsa and interactions with Tulsa Global Alliance.
