International Visitor Program Partnerships

TGA is a portal for average area citizens to exercise their right, and even responsibility, to promote peace through person-to-person interactions.

Tulsa is a popular city for the U.S. State Department, U.S. Embassies, and the U.S. Library of Congress-sponsored international visitor partner organizations such as:

  • The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP);

  • The Youth Ambassador Program;

  • The Legislative Fellows Program; and

  • Open World Programs.

We are a highly valued partner to these organizations.

Structured schedules enable our visitors to explore their professional or educational roles through meetings with local leaders and organizations, while also allowing them to observe and take part in cultural and social events. These programs give area citizens numerous opportunities to learn from and about cultures from around the world.

The total annual economic impact  of TGA’s international visitor programming for 2018 was valued at $958,000.
